ENGINES
We sell and install quality-REMANUFACTURED engines from 2 of the biggest and best in the industry, Jasper Engines & Transmissions, as well as Marshall Engines. Remanufacturing is a very high quality and cost effective alternative to replacing the vehicle or rebuilding an old tired and worn out engine.

Most rebuilders can’t perform the same quality of job simply because they don’t have the knowledge or machinery required. After 20+ years in the automotive industry, we thought we had a good knowledge of what it takes to remanufacture engines and transmissions.

Boy were we wrong, a tour of Jasper Engines & Transmissions facility opened our eyes to the way professionals do it. It was amazing, after nine hours touring their facility we were only half way through it! They have millions of dollars invested in tools, machinery and training. A lot of research and development goes into a remanufactured engine or transmission.

There is nothing gained by just putting a few new parts into an engine or transmission, and sending it out on the road, it will result in the same type of failure, again. Jasper Engine & Transmissions has an in house Research & Development Department, it’s here where they “fix” the manufactures mistakes to your engine or transmission.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions find solutions to problems, and incorporate these solutions it to all of its products. Although an engine or transmission has been remanufactured and ready to ship, if a new or better solution is found, it will be pulled from the shelf and the new solution incorporated in to it! Now that’s dedication to quality!

That’s why we offer a 3-year/75k mi. or 5-year/50k mi. warranty! 2-year unlimited miles on Diesels!

We also install used engines, although a used engine may not have all of the benefits of a remanufactured engine, sometimes it can be a good alternative. It is most certainly the most economical. Most used engines are of average mileage, and in good condition. Used engines have a 6-month or 6k-mi. warranty on parts.

TRANSMISSIONS
At Oborn Engine & Automotive we also sell and install quality-REMANUFACTURED transmissions.
Transmissions are Jasper Engines & Transmissions so you know the quality is 2nd to none! All Passenger car and Light truck transmissions have the same 3yr / 75k mi. warranty.
